The General Assembly
The UN General Assembly is the central deliberative organ of the United Nations and provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues. Rwanda continues to take part in the General assembly on issues relating to Africa and those of particular interest to Rwanda.
About the General Assembly
The GA is composed of various committees and key issues are followed by The Mission’s experts to make sure outcome documents reflect Rwanda’s position. These committees include:
-First Committee (Disarmament & International Security).
-Second Committee (Economic & Financial).
-Third Committee (Social, Humanitarian & Cultural).
-Fourth Committee (Special Political & Decolonization).
-Fifth Committee (Administrative & Budgetary).
-Sixth Committee (Legal).
